3COM PRINT SCREEN AND QUIKBUF
The 3Com 3PLUS print-screen software is incompatible with QUIKBUF.
Generally we recommend NOT using our printbuffer with network software.
BASIC COMPILERS AND QUIKBUF
SYMPTOM: Printer stops printing when xxxxx program is loaded.
CAUSE: Several BASIC compilers appear to use the same software
interrupts used by Quikbuf. The printer will appear to be locked up
until the user gets out of the BASIC program. This is true for
compiled basic programs (EXE files) as well. Early versions of MS BASIC
and PC BASIC both exhibit this phenomena.
Customers report the latest version of Quikbuf solves the problem.
SOLUTION: TRY OUR LATEST VERSION OF QUIKBUF.
DBASE III (& III+) AND QUIKBUF
dBASE III print commands bypass Quikbuf's print buffer. When printing
from dBASE III or III+, the user will not regain screen control until
just a few seconds before the document finishes printing.
